In the stunning state of Uttarakhand, India, the Kedarnath, Chopta, Tungnath, and Rishikesh circuit is a magnificent pilgrimage and trekking route. It provides an abundance of spiritual and natural beauty. While Chopta and Tungnath are renowned for their tranquil beauty and hiking paths, Kedarnath is a highly regarded Hindu temple. In contrast, the serene town of Rishikesh is on the banks of the revered Ganges River. This circuit offers pilgrims and lovers of the great outdoors an enlightening and life-changing experience as it leads you past historic temples, verdant woods, and breathtaking mountain scenery.

Stay :
- The stay will be provided in a traditional homestay or GMVN Dormitory which is run by Uttarakhand Government. Triple/Quadruple sharing will be done on the basis of Male/Female count. This is a budget trip and focus is more towards experiencing local culture and promoting tourism in the village.
Meal :
- Vegetarian indian meal will be provided. Only Breakfast and Dinner will be provided as mentioned in day wise itinerary. Participants have to take care of their own lunch.

Tour Plan
Day 1 - Drive from Rishikesh to Sitapur/Gaurikund
Pickup Time : 06 AM
Approx Distance : 200 Kms
Travelling time : 6-8 Hours
Overnight stay in Gaurikund/Sitapur. Dinner will be provided.
Day 2 - Trek to Kedarnath Temple
Trekking Distance : 18 Kms
Trekking Time : 8-10 Hours
Level : Intermediate
We will start our trek from Gaurikund in the early morning so that we can enjoy the views and trek. Kedarnath Mandir (Kedarnath Temple) is a Hindu temple (shrine) dedicated to Shiva. Located on the Garhwal Himalayan range near the Mandakini river. We will start our trek early morning at 06 AM and by evening we will reach Kedarnath Temple. There will be many shops on the way to have food. We will stay near the Kedarnath Temple. Breakfast and Dinner will be provided.
Day 3 - Trek down to Gaurikund and Stay in Sitapur/Gaurikund

Trekking Time : 5-6 Hours
Level : Intermediate
Early morning we will start our trek down to Gaurikund. In the evening We will visit Triguninarayan Temple where marriage of Shiva and Parvati happened. Breakfast and Dinner will be provided.
Day 4 : Drive to Chopta and trek to Tungnath
Trekking Distance : 3.5 kms
Level : Easy
After breakfast We will start our journey towards Chopta. After reaching Chopta We will start our trek towards Tungnath. Tungnath peacefully adorned on the Chandranath Parvat is the highest Shiva temple in the world and the highest Panch Kedar temple of Uttarakhand.
It is the third (Tritiya Kedar) in the pecking order of the Panch Kedars. Tungnath is perched at an elevation of 3, 680 metres above sea level and is considered to be more than 1,000 years old. It will be a 3.5 kms trek. We will reach Tungnath by evening and enjoy the sunset. Breakfast and Dinner will be provided.
Day 5 - Sunrise trek to Chandrashila and drive back to Rishikesh

Trekking Distance : 6 kms
At 04 AM We will leave for Sunrise trek to Chandrashila. Chandrashila is summit of the Tungnath. It literally means "Moon Rock". It is located at a height of about 4,000 metres above sea level. This peak provides views of the Himalayas, including Nandadevi, Trisul, Kedar Peak, Bandarpunch and Chaukhamba peaks. The trek would be around 1.5 Kms long.
After enjoying the Sunrise, We will trek down to Chopta and after breakfast, we will start our journey back to Rishikesh. On the way We will try to visit Vashisht Cave if time permits.
